State license data
License number, classifications and status come from California Contractors State License Board public records, with the date we checked. You can always confirm at cslb.ca.gov.
Ratings that come from real jobs
Only customers with a completed booking can rate a pro, and neighbor vouches come from residents with a verified local ZIP. We don't remove honest ratings, and nobody can pay to change them.
Your details stay private
Pros see your full name and email only after you book them or accept their quote. A pro's customer list is private to that pro.
Real people watching
Our local team reviews listing claims, hides content that breaks the rules, and can suspend accounts that misuse Tendwell.
Getting paid
Today
Pros set their own prices. Payment is arranged directly between the homeowner and the pro, and Tendwell takes nothing from the job.
Pay in the app Coming soon
Invoices and secure card payments through Stripe, with payouts straight to the pro. A small platform fee will apply to in-app payments, and we'll tell pros the exact amount before it starts. We'll never charge per lead.
